Not just that, but stalked at the coffee shop I would frequent.”Rodgers explained that he was being followed to his local gym and that paparazzi would intrude on his personal life.“The gym at Proactive that I would go to, which was really bizarre,” he continued. “And then the paparazzi was stalking me for a long time. Flying drones over my house. I’ve learned how it has had a bounty on getting a picture of my wife, which I think is very bizarre as well.”open image in galleryAaron Rodgers says he has stalkers with ‘bizarre obsession’ with him (Getty Images)He noted that his wife, whom he met in 2017, had no desire to be in the public eye — and that he wanted to protect her from media attention as much as he can.“I understand the attention that comes with somebody that’s accomplished what I’ve accomplished, so in no way am I making this a ‘woe is me,’” he continued. “But when it comes to your personal safety, it’s not just me, it’s me and her, and it’s really f***ing bizarre.” Rodgers claimed that he never had a desire to live in the public eye, but vaguely alluded to getting involved with people who convinced him to live life in a very public way. “I was with individuals who called the paparazzi, who leaked where I was living, who coerced me to make Instagram posts, I never really wanted to live a public life,” he said. “If you look at the saga with my family for years, it was one-sided. They were taking shots in the media, and I never really said anything until it got to the point that I was like, ‘enough is enough.’” open image in galleryAaron Rodgers revealed in June 2025 that he privately tied the know (Getty Images)The Independent has contacted Rodgers’ representatives for comment. For more than a decade, Rodgers has been estranged from his family, including his parents, Ed Rodgers and Darla Rodgers, and his brothers, Jordan Rodgers and Luke Rodgers, due to what he has called “deep-rooted” issues. As for his marriage, Rodgers has purposefully kept details under wraps after previous high-profile relationships with the actresses Olivia Munn and Shailene Woodley. In June 2025, he confirmed that he’d secretly tied the knot when reporters pointed out a ring on his finger.
