(Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty Images) Alex Warren is the latest artist to be announced as a performer for this yearâs BRIT Awards ceremony. READ MORE: BRIT Awards 2026: here are all the nominees The show is being held outside of London for the first time in its 50-year history, taking place at Manchesterâs Co-op Live on February 28, and it is set to be a star-studded affair, with Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, HUNTR/Xâs EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, Wolf Alice, Mark Ronson and RosalĂa all already announced as playing at the ceremony. Advertisement Now, Warren has been added to the line-up, after a year in which his breakout hit âOrdinaryâ became the most played song on British radio, as well as the longest-running UK Number One by a US artist this decade. He has said: âThe UK is where ‘Ordinary’ first broke and changed my life last year. I am so grateful for all the love from my fans there, and I canât wait to bring a big performance to the BRITsâ stage for the very first time.â View this post on Instagram It was also revealed at the end of 2025 that âOrdinaryâ had been the most streamed song of the 2020s over the course of the year, clocking up around 750million streams. It is nominated for Best International Song of the Year at the BRITs, while Warren was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys earlier this month and he won the same prize at the VMAs last year. Recommended Jack Whitehall is returning to host the BRITs this year for the sixth time, and this yearâs trophy, designed by Matthew Williamson, has also been unveiled. Scottish art-folk artist Jacob Alon has been confirmed as the winner of the 2026 BRITs Criticsâ Choice Award, and those with the most nominations this year include Olivia Dean, former NME Cover star Lola Young, Sam Fender, Lily Allen and Lewisham rapper Jim Legxacy. Other artists being honoured at this yearâs BRITs include Mark Ronson, who has been awarded for his Outstanding Contribution to Music, and Noel Gallagher, who has been given the âSongwriter Of The Yearâ award.
