Founded by Reed Duchscher, Night’s roster of creators includes Kai Cenat, Sam and Colby, T-Pain, Tara Davis-Woodhall, Hunter Woodhall and the Kalogeras Sisters. Discovery in 2024 (Roost’s shows include the popular This Past Weekend with Theo Von). The new round suggests that its dealmaking is not over yet. Of course, gaming, sports and music are among the most popular genres for creators, with livestreams and original TikTok and YouTube content around those topics surguing. Night has also been pushing into experiential entertainment and live events, which are also on the rise as people seek to forge a closer relationship with the content and creators they follow. “The most important media companies of the future will be built by teams who best understand internet media and culture,” Duchscher, said in a statement, “We’ve all seen the seismic shift of attention moving away from traditional entertainment to content creators’ digital channels.
