Styles went on to say that he âhad a very clear moment of: âThis is why I get on stage'â. âIâm watching this and feeling everything thatâs happening around me in the crowd,â he continued. âThereâs people picking up each otherâs things and people are bringing each other things. Itâs this sense of strangers looking at each other and massaging each otherâs shoulders when someoneâs emotional and looking into the eyes of a stranger and screaming out a chorus together.â He concluded: âI had a moment of like, âIâm there so that people can have thisâ, you know? Iâm soundtracking this.â Recommended Watch the moment below at around 24 minutes 38 seconds: Styles has previously cited dance-punk icons LCD Soundsystem as inspirations to tour as well, telling BBC Radio 1: âI went to see LCD Soundsystem a couple times. I saw them at a festival in Madrid, that was in like a car park, basically, and then I saw them again at Brixton, and it was just so joyous.â âWhen youâre watching them be so immersed in it, I think the inspiration from them came of like, âoh, thatâs how I want to feel when Iâm on stageâ. And then that kind of led to the kind of music I was making,â he added. Advertisement NME reviewed âKiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionallyâ, giving it four stars and calling it a âtriumphâ: âLargely, Styles taking a new approach to things really works â âKiss All The TimeâŠâ feels like an album that youâll really want to spend a lot of time with, letting all its layers envelope youâ. Styles will soon take his record to the stage in a series of residencies. The âTogether Togetherâ tour will take place in seven cities, with Styles originally announcing six shows at Londonâs Wembley Stadium, 30 dates at New Yorkâs MSG, and a set of concerts in Mexico City, SĂŁo Paulo, Amsterdam, Melbourne and Sydney.
