Several cities sold out after tickets went on sale on Friday, with Variety reporting that they spotted online queues of up to 100,000. Springsteen has never shied away from wearing his heart on his sleeve for the issues he cares about, but the tour’s announcement was particularly charged. Springsteen’s choice of Minneapolis as the tour opener is certainly no accident, either, and comes after he dropped the anti-ICE protest anthem, “Streets of Minneapolis.” He’ll then swing through the West Coast, South, Midwest, and East Coast, before wrapping up the tour in May in Washington, D.C.
