By Echo Apsey 23rd February 2026 Credit: Squanch Games High On Life 2 has released and fans are keen to know if the original Gatlian, and the voice that carried the original game Kenny makes a return, especially as you begin the game with just two weapons. READ MORE: 2026 game release dates – every PS5, PS4, Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 release Here is a rundown of where Kenny has gone and if he makes a return. Advertisement Kenny is not in High on Life 2, or the post-launch DLC for the original game. This is due to the original voice actor Justin Roiland, departing Squanch Games at the start of 2023. He was one of the founders of Squanch Games, but following domestic abuse allegations, he resigned from the studio, and left many of his other projects. As Kenny was voiced by Roiland, it makes no sense why he would be back, as he can quite easily be replaced by another Gatlian, which is what has been done in the sequel. Sweezy and Gus effectively takes the role of Kenny in High on Life 2, acting as the main Gatlians carrying you through the story. It is unlikely, as a result of Justin Roiland no longer being a part of Squanch Games, that Kenny will ever return to the series.
