For his part, Eissa said work is underway to speed up the restructuring of economic entities. He noted that a meeting is scheduled for Tuesday with officials from the General Authority for Reconstruction Projects and Agricultural Development, to be followed by a meeting with Ahmed al-Muslimani, Head of the National Media Authority, on Wednesday. Eissa stated that a subsequent meeting will be held on the New Urban Communities Authority to review and discuss its development plan and project marketing strategy. Another meeting is planned with the General Authority for Supply Commodities, which has submitted its development plan. Discussions will also take place with Transport Minister Kamel al-Wazir regarding the status of reform efforts at the Egyptian National Railways and the Cairo Metro. In addition, procedures are underway for the temporary listing of 20 other companies on the Egyptian Exchange, ahead of their full listing, bringing the total number of companies to 60 in line with a presidential directive on the matter.
