Morgan/Getty Images Grace Jones has been confirmed as the latest headliner for a summer series taking place at London’s Crystal Palace Park, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be joining her on the bill. Advertisement Set to run from July 30 to August 16, the live event will see 12 live shows lined up for the inaugural 2026 edition. Today (Tuesday February 17), Grace Jones has been confirmed as the latest headliner and will be performing on Friday July 31. The iconic singer, actress, and author will be breaking out classics from across her discography, including ‘La Vie En Rose’ and ‘Slave To The Rhythm’, and joined by an array of special guests. These include Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who is currently experiencing a new surge of fans thanks to ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ going viral in recent years, and London music collective Soul II Soul. He will take to the stage on Sunday August 6, joined on the night by Marc Almond – performing the songs of Soft Cell and solo tracks – and Ladytron. Bastille and The Wombats will co-headline on Thursday August 13 and, before then, there will be the first ever ‘Gospel Garden Festival’ taking place at the event. The latter will be held on Sunday August 2, and will mark London’s biggest outdoor gospel festival. It will be headlined in a UK-exclusive by Kirk Franklin and Tasha Cobbs Leonard, and support will come from Fred Hammond, Mercy Chinwo and Jerub. The upcoming slot from Jones comes as she performed as part of the stacked line-up for the Montreux Jazz Festival last year, joining Neil Young, Pulp, Sam Fender, RAYE, Diana Ross and more on the bill. Advertisement The singer has not released a new album since 2008’s ‘Hurricane’, but she did feature on Beyoncé’s ‘Move’ from the 2022 album ‘Renaissance’, and Janelle MonĂĄe’s ‘Ooh La La’ from ‘The Age Of Pleasure’ in 2023. For Sophie Ellis-Bextor, the slot will come after she takes to the stage next month as part of a huge Wembley gig in support of the trans community.
