And it is never too late to do the right thing. And we are here. We believe. And we believe in the essential goodness of every human being. And it’s never too late.” View this post on Instagram Nancy, 84, was reported missing from her Tucson home on Feb. 1, after she didn’t show up at a friend’s house to watch a livestream of church service from Savannah’s New York church. A day later, local authorities said they believed she was abducted. In the days since Nancy disappeared, Savannah and her siblings have released multiple video messages pleading for their mother’s return with at least one saying that they’d received a message from the alleged kidnapper and were willing to pay to bring her home. The FBI said Thursday that they believe the man shown in the photos and videos released Tuesday is between 5’9″ and 5’10” with an average build and is wearing a black, 25-liter Ozark Trail Hiker Pack backpack. Authorities have also said her blood was found on the front porch. On Friday, the Pima County sheriff said investigators had recovered DNA from gloves and other pieces of potential evidence. On Sunday, following DNA testing, the FBI said that a glove found about two miles from Nancy’s house appears to match those worn by a person in a mask who was seen outside her front door the night she vanished. The FBI said they received preliminary results Saturday and are now awaiting official confirmation.
